Accountant/Bookkeeper

Your new job

As Accountant/Bookkeeper in Minerva, you will become part of a Finance team responsible for supporting Minerva and its subsidiaries in 7 countries. After a thorough onboarding, you will have responsibility for handling the finances in 3-4 subsidiaries operationally from A to Z.

 

Your tasks will include: 

  • Bookkeeping including updating the general ledger, customer ledger and supplier ledger
  • Payroll including salary and benefit payments as well as controlling and handling expenses
  • Invoicing in collaboration with our project managers
  • Master data setup in our ERP system
  • Government reporting including VAT
  • Yearly audit and taxation in collaboration with local auditors and the rest of the Finance team

When necessary, you will also support our customers, suppliers and employees on financial and commercial tasks. You will be based at our headquarters in Aarhus and report to the CFO.

Your profile

You have at least a few years of experience working in a finance department or in an auditor company completing some or all of the above tasks. Although we expect that you have a relevant education, your hands-on experience is more important than your educational background.

  

You are fluent in Danish, but as you will be working in an international context and with subsidiaries abroad, you are also proficient in both written and spoken English. In addition, your IT skills are good and you have experience working with an ERP system as this will be an important tool for you in Minerva.

Due to our growth, the pace is fast, and you therefore have a structured and can-do approach to problem-solving as well as an ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment. With your proactive nature, you prioritize establishing relationships with key people in your subsidiaries as a method to efficiently support them.
